“Success is where intelligence and data connect.” – FourKites Customer Roundtable 2025

Last week, our FourKites superusers and friends gathered at our HQ in Chicago for a jam-packed day of learning, connection, and all things AI and supply chain orchestration at our Customer Roundtable. With plenty of fresh insights, good coffee, and even better company, the vibe was collaborative, forward-looking, and fun.

Event Highlights

We kicked things off with a warm welcome from Anand Ravindran, VP of Customer Operations, before diving into our tech vision and product roadmap, courtesy of Priya Rajagopalan, President of Product, Technology and Operations and Karthik Rajagopal, EVP of Product. Think: sneak peeks, future-forward strategy, and a healthy dose of excitement about what’s coming down the pipeline.

Throughout the day, we zeroed in on three big themes that are shaping the future of supply chain visibility and what’s next for this space:

1. Level up Customer Visibility

A leading food production company’s Associate Director of Customer Service shared how their team is leveling up customer visibility using FourKites. Their session hit home for many — especially during the Q&A, where folks were curious about the nitty-gritty of implementation and impact.

Then our very own Austin Fry, Senior Customer Success Manager, took the mic to break down best practices and lead some hands-on breakout chats, generating many great ideas among participants.

2. Take Flight with FourKites Data + AI

Representatives from a major logistics management company walked us through their phased approach to scaling FourKites across their operations. It was structured, smart, and incredibly relatable:

  • Crawl: Get the basics down — shipment visibility and subscribed reports
  • Walk: Build on it — add tracking tools and start visualizing results
  • Run: Layer in ocean tracking and data connectors
  • Fly: Embrace AI solutions like FourKites’ Digital Worker, Tracy, and tackle supplier-managed freight

After that, Stephen Dyke from our team jumped in with a live demo of our Digital Workers Tracy and Sam — yes, FourKites’ agentic AI solutions are here and already solving real-world problems.

3. Bold Moves from Reactive to Proactive

The afternoon’s showstopper was a fascinating deep dive from a global consumer goods company, showing how they’ve reimagined their security monitoring with FourKites.

Key takeaways included:

  • Building smart workflows to automate alerts and carrier comms
  • Shifting from “always watching” to “escalations only”
  • Streamlining down to a three-step process: FourKites/Tracy → Carrier → Company

And the result? Better ops, better tracking, and less time wasted on tedious manual tasks.

John Barrett, Senior Product Manager at FourKites, wrapped it up with a reality check on the cost of staying reactive — and how proactive strategies (and the right tech) can seriously move the needle on things like stockouts, OTIF penalties, and avoidable expedites.
